F1RST

This project, produced together with 1000s Worlds for the F1RST Foundation, highlights the journeys of three young first-generation students striving for education and career opportunities. The film aims to inspire by portraying courage, resilience, and community, while showing how F1RST opens doors to future possibilities.

Mahdi Sahal

A student from Fisksätra with Somali heritage who discovered new pathways through mentorship and networking with F1RST, leading to both career opportunities and academic growth. His story highlights the power of pushing forward together, daring to be the first, and creating a path that opens doors for others to follow.

Pedrie Osman

A driven student with Bulgarian roots who, despite doubts from her surroundings, successfully made it into the Stockholm School of Economics. Her journey emphasizes the importance of self-confidence, community, and how F1RST creates a supportive environment that empowers young people to believe in their potential.

Ishmam Chowdhury

A determined student from Skärholmen who, despite growing up in a challenging environment, refuses to give up on his academic dreams. His story is about persistence, ambition, and how F1RST has provided him with inspiration and relatable role models on his path toward universities like KTH or Karolinska.
